What sets Computer Art for Young People apart from similar programs? For one thing, there's no software to buy! Every project in the lesson plan and on the two-part computer crafts DVD or VHS can be created using software that's already on your computer. Each activity is completed using Microsoft's Paint or Word programs, (mostly the Paint program). Needless to say, Paint is included in every Microsoft Windows edition and Microsoft Word comes bundled with Microsoft Office, so you and your class already have the software. There's no added expense to be deducted from an already tight supplies budget!
Microsoft® and Windows® are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and/or other countries.
Another thing that sets Computer Art for Young People apart is our attitude. You'll see it shine through in the program--real teachers loving what they do! They've tested the activities out in the classroom, proved their effectiveness, and then put their knowledge and experience on VHS or DVD to share with you and your students.
And finally, Computer Art for Young People is super-easy to use! This means minimum preparation time and quick mastery of basics by the students so they can dive right into fun learning projects. It also means minimum start-up frustration for both you and your students! Young people are naturally excited about working with computers and expressing themselves, so the motivation is built-in. Your hardest job will be getting them to quit!
